• Installed Yarns microsub server and coupled with Indigenous as a reader/microsub client I can now respond to blog posts in a more social/IndieWeb kinda way.

  • Looking into PressForward as a replacement for Feedly based off Chris Aldrich’s write-up of the WordPress plugin. Being able to read and respond to blog posts in the same app is appealing and might even help me keep on top of my ‘Read Later’ list.

  • My Last.fm last.year listening report has confirmed what I’ve long suspected. Through our shared smart speaker @tesshumphrys has infiltrated my listening habits with @BlossomsBand being my most played artist of 2020.

  • Google Home routines set IFTTT applets configured Data consolidated RSS unread count: 0 Email unread count: 683 Booting 2021… Happy New Year!

  • On the topic of gardening, I’ve been spending the holiday period pruning duplicated and redundant files dispersed across various storage platforms and devices: NAS, DAS, external USB drives, and cloud services. I’m confident it’s all backed up following the 3-2-1 strategy.

  • I’ve decided. My website is in need of an overhaul. I like the concept of cultivating a digital garden whilst also combining some of the social aspects of the IndieWeb, so in the New Year I’ll don my gloves, a trowel and see how I get on!

  • In spite of the torrential rain and thunderstorms on Saturday that almost put an end to our camping adventure, we had a great time visiting the Costa Brava. Historic Tossa de Mar was particularly splendid in the sun

  • 😍 The light in Barcelona! And look at those blue skies 👌

  • Had a great time exploring the Stanley Kubrick exhibition at the Centre de Cultura Contemprània de Barcelona. Kubrick is one of my favourite directors and it was so inspiring to see his life’s work presented in such a way.

  • Stretching our legs in the hills overlooking Barcelona city (our new home for now), just thirty minutes away from our apartment. Endless blue skies, warm weather and fresh air 👌
